Shakespeare in Spring.
We are delighted to announce NBT’s Spring Season tour dates which all have something in common…. Shakespeare!

Our World Première of Hamlet opens at Leeds Grand Theatre in February. In the early 1940s, a young man arrives home from the front. But his home is no longer his own. His father is dead, his mother has married his Uncle and the enemy occupies his city. In this powerful new ballet Hamlet’s mind unfolds against one of the most terrifying periods of the 20th Century. Features a new score by Philip Feeney, played live by the Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra.

The season also includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Finally our classic adaptation of Romeo & Juliet stays with us this season.
