Introduction to Ballet with Northern Ballet Theatre

In January 2008 Northern Ballet Theatre will be introducing an exciting new class to their timetable - Introduction to Ballet.  This class is open to children between the ages of eight and eleven years, who would like to find out more about ballet.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated children who are willing to try something new and have fun. No previous dance experience is required.  Classes will cover ballet movements and technique and help provide an insight into our Academy Programme. All classes are taught by Northern Ballet Theatre staff and accompanied by a musician.

The class will run on a weekly basis on Wednesdays during term time from 5.30-6.30pm.  The cost is £40 per term.

For more information please contact the Academy on 0113 274 5355 or email classicaltraining@northernballettheatre.co.uk or click here to download an application form.

Easter Course 2010

Do something different with your Easter holidays. Our professionals will help you put together your own piece of dance, to music written especially by our composer Philip Feeney. Finish the week with a performance in front of a live audience.

Our Easter Course is always popular, so make sure you book before Monday 15 March.

Open Workshops

We hold open workshops at various venues across the country for those who would like to get involved and participate in a creative dance workshop based on the current repertoire.
