Trained: Kushiro Ballet Academy and Central
School of Ballet, London.

Belle, A Christmas Carol, Butterfly, Madame Butterfly, Isabella,
Wuthering Heights, Hippolyta and Helena, A Midsummer Night’s
Dream, Odette, Swan Lake, Embraceable You, I Got Rhythm.
Career Highlights: Nominated for Most Outstanding
Contribution to Dance at the Laurence Olivier Awards 2003
for her performance as Butterfly.

Personal: Hopes one day to make costumes
for performers. Loves cleaning and tidying and is constantly
doing it! Very easily moved to tears. Last summer Chiaki married
NBT’s Deputy Stage Manager Chun-Yen Chia.
